Hmmmm.....
Here's a little run down.
- Demo'd the bathroom and put tile down.
- Replaced the Ceiling Fan in the Living Room. The 19' ceiling caused me to rent construction scaffolding and construct scaffolding in my house to reach the ceiling.
- While taking down the scaffolding- 1 end piece got away from me and crashed into the corner of the bar wall that separates the kitchen from living room and caused some drywall damage.
- Currently putting sealer on the floor.
- Will caulk the molding this evening or tomorrow.
- Will mud the walls tomorrow.
- I went to see Morrissey 3 times.
- 1st night was at the Alabama Theater in Birmingham. I took my 16 yr old nephew to his 1st rock show. He really enjoyed it. Nice small venue. I was totally blown away by Kristeen Young... Wow... She is a cross between Kate Bush, Tori Amos and Bjork.
- 2nd night was in ATL @ Chastain. I thought I had good seats but anything not down front and it is like watching a show on TV while your are outside. Chastain is not my favorite place and Morrissey called out all the stuck up people there. "Now I know why I've never played here." was his response to all the season ticket holders that were talking and drinking their wine as the music was an afterthought for them.
- 3rd night was in Myrtle Beach. Yep I drove all the way to MB to see a show. This was also my first time back in a House of Blues (I don't consider the Tabernacle an official HOB) since me an Money got kicked out of the HOB, separately and for different reasons, in Orlando. THIS SHOW FUCKING ROCKED!!! WOW!!! I took Rogman with me and even HE was impressed. He only knew about 3-4 songs but the show was so damn good EVERYONE commented on it.
- The only thing I would change about this 3 day run is my wish that he would have changed up his sets. Pretty much the same show 3 days in a row - except for ATL where he cut out 3 songs to get the fuck out of there.
