I can understand why we need to ween ourselves from Middle Eastern Oil so we no longer fund the Islamic Fascists BUT we need to pump more oil ourselves... Alaska, and off the shore of Florida and California... I am not a proponent of Ethanol and after reading this article: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18941618/ I would rather pay $6.00 a gallon vs. causing the price of beer to go up.
You can't argue the economics. Barly for $271 per ton, that's ton-as in 2000 pounds, as opposed to Corn at over $500 per ton. That sucks....
I now say this war should be about Oil!!! Dammit.
I say that the Government should coerce the big Oil companies to build 4 new refineries, 1 in New Jersey, 1 in Brunswick Ga, 1 either on Texas coast of in New Orleans, and 1 in California. AND all the 32 different additives they have to put in Gas for the different states would be abolished, 1 gas for America.
